Antibes Coffee morning scheduale for December 2021:

Monday December 6, 13 and 20 @ restaurant La Paillote, 2 boulevard edouard Baudoin, Juan les Pins.

There will be no coffee morning on December 27.

On monday December 13, after the Coffee morning, we would like to organise a Christmas Lunch at Restaurant La Paillote, partners are welcome.
The menu of the 'formule du jour' is main dish meat or fish, a desert, a glas of wine and coffee for around 20 euros. But you are free to choose à la carte. This seaside restaurant, French cuisine, is well ventilated and we are able to respect the Covid sanitary rules.
Please reserve as of now by mail to  coffee.antibes-jlp@iwcr.org

We meet every Monday morning from 10 until 12.00 at Marriott Ambassador Hotel, chemin des Sables, 06160 Juan les Pins.

Our group is very international and varied; some have lived here for years, others have recently arrived. It is a great opportunity to exchange information, to seek advice, learn a bit more about living in the area and make new friends.

Lunch & Book Club Meetings

We also organize a lunch a few times a year, have a book club which meets monthly and will be meeting all through the summer.

Monthly "APÉRO"
We have a monthly 'APERO" aperitif on the 1st Thursday from 5-7 pm.

For our last Apéro of this year, join us from 5 to 7 pm, Thursday December 2nd at the famous Blue Lady Pub at the entrance of the old town, rue Lacan in Antibes (partners and friends welcome).  Blue Lady Pub has a cozy atmosphere and reasonably priced alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks; parking nearby at Pré aux Pêcheurs (port Vauban) situated 20 Avenue de Verdun.
For this last Apéro of the year, It will be my pleasure to visit with you the exposition ‘emotions’ of the exceptional work of KEES VERKADE at the art gallery Les Arcades, around the corner of the Blue Lady pub, at 18 boulevard Aguillon, from 4 to 5 pm.

Kees Verkade
Hollands most famous sculptor who worked and lived in Monaco and of whom you might have seen already 2 sculptures in Antibes and many others in Monaco. His work is also found in private collections and in several museums in Europe and America.  Kees died in Monaco, his home for the past 40 years, in December 2020.

Meet me at 4 pm in the hall of the Expo center les Arcades, entrance is free.  After the visit we can walk around the corner to the Blue Lady Pub.
