Matisse and Picnic in the Park

Pierre Matisse, the youngest son of Henri Matisse gathered together an impressive collection of French and european modern art in his gallery in New York. This exhibition is not exhaustive but, with 70 works of 23 artists, aims to give a taste of the breadth and depth of his collection.
The exhibition is held in the Matisse Museum in the park of the archeological site in Cimiez, Nice.
We will picnic under the olive trees in the park afterwards. Bring your own picnic if you like, and there is also a good little café in the park - they do a great pan bagnat!

By car: free parking is available in front of the Monastery and along the Avenue du Monastère
