Back by popular demand Birgitta previously shared tales of her life as a young person attached to the Swedish Embassy in Beijing during the Cultural Revolution. She had all who were there spell-bound. Birgitta is a natural story-teller who captures your imagination. Now she has written 6 short stories, two of which had those of us listening, alternatively crying and laughing till our sides hurt. Whether it was finding a new love at a bus-stop or singing Maoist songs through Paris with a taxi-driver Birgitta bemused and beguiled us. She will share some of these stories again with us.
Coffee and presentation will start at 10.30am, lunch will follow.Lunch will be a set of 2 course menu and includes coffee and 1 glass of wine. An alternative menu will be available for those who require a vegetarian meal or who have food allergies. An email will be sent to all registrants closer to the time to ask for specific food requests.
