Chateau de la Napoule Visit With lunch on the Beach Friday March 25, 2022
The Château was rebuilt from authentic ruins in the early 20th Century by the American artist couple Henry and Marie Clews, who restored the property with taste and whimsy.
We will enjoy a guided visit of the Château and the studio of Henry Clews, filled with his sculptures. You will also enjoy the beautiful gardens and outdoor sculptures.
Today, the Château belongs to the Foundation created by Marie Clews in 1951 to preserve her husband's works, and to sustain young artists in residence.
We will gather in the splendid Courtyard of the Château for our one-hour guided visit which will begin at 10h30.
The visit will be followed by lunch at Boucanier restaurant on the beach just below the Chateau.
This event is partly sponsored by IWCR.
