This is a day trip which has us driving through the stunning lavender fields during their period of peak bloom. We will begin our day early with the bus departing Chateauneuf at 7.30am. There will be a further pick-up just off exit 41 of the A8 (Cannes/La Bocca/Mandelieu at Parking Relais, Rondpoint de la Canardiere , 06210 Mandelieu-la-Napoule). Details of pickup to follow.

After a drive through the fields, at 11:30 we are expected at Lavande Angelvin, a family business, for a talk for about an hour on how lavender is grown, cut and processed.

After this, we will then drive for lunch to the Musée de la lavande, where the family Sauvat have been growing lavender since 1680.

You will be able to look at the Musée and visit the boutique at this time.

At 2:30 we shall continue on to Riez and stop here to visit this historic old village. We should arrive back in Chateauneuf around 6:30 pm.

Lunch will be at Resto du Musée de la Lavande. Please let me know if you have any allergies or special food requirements.
