Walking Tour of Old Nice

We will be taking on a walking tour of Old Nice by Jeanne Oliver.
The walking tour will start at 10 am with us meeting at the Opera Vielle Ville tramstop. From here we will begin our walking tour finishing at Le Place Garibaldi.
Jeanne will take us through the streets and lanes of the Vieille Ville, pointing out little-known sights and explaining how the old town developed. You'll hear the stories and legends that shaped Nice's unique culture and learn about the artists, architects, saints, heroes and sinners that shaped Nice's most vibrant neighborhood.
The event is divided into two parts. The walking tour followed by lunch after at the restaurant Le Garibaldi.
When signing up members will only pay for the walking tour.
If you also wish to stay on for lunch, then we need you to reserve for that too so that we can let the restaurant know numbers.
Lunch must be reserved but it will be paid by members individually on the day and the menu will be your own choice.

Jeanne Oliver Bio:
Jeanne is a travel writer and author who has resided in Nice since 1999. She runs the travel planning website, frenchrivieratraveller.com, but her love of Nice's history and culture prompted her to write Nice Uncovered: Walks Through the Secret Heart of a Historic City. Price for walking tour: €12 members only.
