The Nice Observatory is an astronomical observatory located in Nice, France on the summit of Mount Gros. The observatory was founded in 1879, by the banker Raphaël Bischoffsheim. The architect was Charles Garnier, and Gustave Eiffel designed the main dome. 

We will be given a guided tour in English.Where we will visit the Nice Observatory and hear all about how these famous people made this dream come true.

There will be walking involved in this tour please wear comfortable shoes and have hats handy.

*We will meet in the carpark at 1.15pm the tour will start at 13h30pm.

*There is a paved 1.5 km walk from the carpark to the actual
Observatory.

*Closing date for registration is 06/06/2023 

(Registration not fully paid by closing date will be cancelled and a person on the waiting list will be offered your place. 
Registration cancelled AFTER the closing date will not be refunded.)

	Parking is available but is quite limited so if possible please carpool.
	Bus No 84 goes from Nice Gare to the bus-stop Observatory. Please check timetables for this to make sure you are there for the 1.15pm rendezvous of the group in the carpark.  There is a paved 1.5 km walk from the carpark to the actual Observatory.
