Walking Tour of Historic San Remo, Italy

Our Guide will take us on a tour of the old part of San Remo. In this tour we will cover: Promenade Imperatrice, Russian Church, Casino, Piano district with the St.Siro Cathedral, Medieval old town "la Pigna" up to Piazzetta dei Dolori, pedestrian area via Matteotti, Ariston théâtre, former fishermen's district Piazza Bresca, Old port. This tour requires a lot of walking, so we suggest good walking shoes. You need to be able to walk upstairs and over uneven surfaces. The tour will last nearly two hours before finishing with lunch.
Lunch will be at the Osteria Camelot restaurant located on the outskirts of the historic center of Sanremo, where the illustrious Napoleon Bonaparte was hosted in 1794.
You must find your own way to the event.The meeting point will be at: Piazzale Carlo Dapporto it is the parking area in front of the old train station in Sanremo. Everyone must find their own way there.
*If you are arriving by Train from France, there is only one train station in Sanremo, called Sanremo. It is a flat 1.6km (23 min) walk from the train station to the meeting place for the tour at the historic non-functioning Sanremo train station at Piazzale Carlo Dapporto.

Two different pastas: Ravioli di borragine & erbette (ravioli with borage and herbs)
Trofie with pesto genovese (a type of pasta with pesto, potatoes and green beans)
A slice of cake: pear and chocolate OR apple and cinnamon
Water, wine and coffee
